Happy Monday.

Travel weeks are hard. I’m taking a red-eye after spending the night at a friend’s place because once I start traveling, it doesn’t stop. I love when my essays carry the weight, but living out of a suitcase drains me. Here’s a snapshot of what it looks like to land in three of my favorite cities back to back.


Friday – Athens

I love Athens. It’s underrated, young, vibrant, and a little rough around the edges. When my partner’s with me, we hit our usual spots and order everything on the menu. But summer hasn’t started yet, so it’s just me this time. I’m hiking, wandering through bookstores, forgetting to eat. I stumbled on a bookstore on a random hill and flipped through poetry collections for inspiration. Later that night, I ended up interviewing a couple people for a piece I’ve been working for a couple years.
